What better way to ring in the New Year then to set the auto timer on my camera and attempt to catch a photo flying through the air?  It really captures the excitement over the holiday.  At least I think so.  Around midnight, I pulled Evan aside and asked him to particpate.

Attempt one. Not a huge success.  Although we do look excited.

Hannah decided to join. It's harder than it looks. You never really know when it's going off.

Then Leah decides to interrupt. Yes, I fell.

FINALLY! Only it looks like I gave myself a male body part by positioning my foot in such a way. I demanded a re-do.

So, technically my feet are off the ground, you just can't see.  Just ask my friendly dog there.
